hey evrybody

this is probably the first mass email i have ever written so i don't want to hear any shit when i get home about mass emails. i am writing from utrecht, netherlands this fine tuesday afternoon between downloading internet porn and clicking on the male enhancement links. actually, i just walked around all morning and this is some bad ass shit. i had to take a break from amsterdam for a couple of days to heal my vital organs from the previous month. my sister robyn will be coming to visit me in a'dam on thursday, which will be nice since we will be staying at the youth hostel where i now have a job doing what would best be described as a janitor. i clean toilets and vomit. but i also work night round shifts, which means doubling as a bar back and security guard for the hostel. the shift starts at nine, and every hour i get a free beer in addition to the free one i get every day. marijuana and hashish are tolerated by dutch society, and allowed in the bar area of the youth hostel. it's a pretty smoky room, and while i am not openly admitting here to the deliberate inhalation of THC, i cannot help the effects of exposure. :) occupational hazard, i suppose. anyway, by eleven i am usually socially lubricated and.. um... focused.

i am thinking of buying a cell phone. i haven't really done any playing, except for sitting in at my friends' gigs on occasion. i can't get work as a musician without a phone, so, there it is.

i emplore you to respond to this, as i am always uplifted when i receive emails from my friends, especially after a long day scrubbing. i emPLORE you.. i am meeting a lot of cool people, but it can be a drag when your friends leave to go back home. that is the most depressing thing for me here. i suppose that makes up for the rest of the time when i'm PARTYING MY FUCKING ASS OFF. just kidding dad.

oh, by the way, i apologize to those who i have not kept in touch with in the past two months who probably were waiting to hear from me, i.e. tiernan. man, i will try to write to you later today, but every time i sit down to a computer ther is somebody waiting oh so patiently RIGHT BEHIND ME. look forward to hearing from each and every one of you. pronto.
